Polikor K-396 Polyester Resin is an ortophtalic based, versatile rapid curing general purpose unsaturated polyester resin. Laminates prepared with K–396 are resilient have high mechanical strenght, good rigidity, excellent impact resistance and very low water absortion. It is particulary suited for the manufacture of vehicle bodies, railway coaches, caravans, machine fairings and covers, boat buildings, water storage tanks and smilar applications. It can also be used to make moulds for cold curing GRP systems. It is suitable for use in hand lay-up, spray-up, resin injection machine moulding and filament winding processes.
